CSX-3 cabinets are designed for maximum application flexibility by combining the features of a centralized splitter cabinet with those of a fiber cross-connect cabinet.

Cabinets are available in a range of sizes and configurations. Distribution panels are modular so that cabinets can be “sized” for day-one requirements, with field expansion capability in
the 432 and 864 cabinet sizes, when increased take rates demand it. Cable stub harnesses are typically provided with directly terminated SC/APC connectors; however, CSX-3 cabinets may be configured without stubs from the factory, allowing field distribution and feeder cables to be fully spliced in the cabinet.
